Participation of the TNE_QA delegation in the Conference on Quality Assurance of Cross-Border Higher Education

A delegation from TNE_QA project in the framework of inter-project coaching participated in the Conference on Cross-Border Higher Education, organized by the ENQA and HCERES in Paris within the framework of Erasmus Mundus QACHE project.The delegation consisted of Mr. Arayik Navoyan, Tempus TNE_QA project coordinator, Mr. Ruben Topchyan, Director of National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance (ANQA), Ms. Ani Mkrtchyan, Responsible for ANQA Internal Quality Assurance. The event targeted quality assurance and higher education professionals from Europe and other regions and discussed the most current issues on the rapidly expanding phenomenon of cross-border higher education and its quality assurance. The event was the final conference of the Erasmus Mundus-supported, ENQA-led project “Quality Assurance of Cross-Border Higher Education (QACHE)“.

This was a good opportunity to present the activities and achievements of Tempus TNE_QA project and to discuss the current developments and issues of Quality Assurance of Cross-Border Higher Education, as well as the possibilities for further cooperation in this framework. From the side of the project coordination this was a good opportunity to show the TNE_QA project methodology, activities and results obtained to some 114 participants. The TNE_QA project methodology, activities, difficulties and results achieved were presented within a special focus on quality assurance indicators, developed within the TNE_QA project especially concerning those on information sharing and gathering.
